At the beginning of the month as mentioned in an earlier post, Samantha had a birthday. The following week of her birthday she had a sleepover with 3 friends: Morgan, Meghan, and Kendall. I took them to the movies, did a little crafty project with them, and let them chatter themselves to sleep.
Last week on Friday, I hosted my first scrapbook retreat. The weeks prior to that I was busy organizing the planning of food and goodie bags. Considering my 40 hour work week I was able to pull everything off and the retreat went really well.
Although the retreat was a working one for me, I was able to get some things done. The camaraderie and atomsphere was great for a relaxing weekend of scrapbooking. I hope to host another in the summer, but seems like places are filling up quickly. Who knows it may be Fall before I am able to host again.
To fill the time in between it's back to hitting the pavement (aka running). I have been lacking doing this and my body is telling me so! Also, there are a couple of art classes I want to take with scrabook industry artists. Oh...swim team starts. So, there will be lots for me to do in May in June.
